COVID-19 SAFETY POLICIES

RECENT SALON CHANGES

  • Appointment-only services to ensure that we stay within the maximum occupancy capacity as mandated by NYC
  • Rearranged space with socially distanced stations and/or stations separated by barriers
  • Germ guards at the front desk, between each shampoo chair, hand sanitizer tissues on each station and throughout the salon
  • Every client gown and cutting cape laundered after each use
  • All of our team members are Barbicide certified in cleanliness and salon safety protocol
  • Every service provider is required to be tested for COVID-19 every 2 weeks
  • All service providers are required to wear face masks
  • Every service provider has extended appointment times to sanitize and sterilize their stations and tools in between every client appointment
  • Though we have medical-grade disposable face masks available, we highly suggest you bring your own to ensure your comfort. Your mask needs to secure behind your ears. We also have disposable gloves available, should you choose to wear them.

MAKING APPOINTMENTS

  • To avoid additional touch points and contact, we will not have assistants performing blowdries
  • Please be patient as some services may take longer than usual

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Dress accordingly, especially if receiving color, as we are not hanging any coats/clothing
  • Bring only a small purse or small bag; we will provide a plastic bag for it
  • No shopping bags, large backpacks, etc.
  • Plan to arrive alone — no additional visitors, children or pets
  • We suggest you bring your personal book, magazine, iPad, phone, etc
  • If you are receiving a haircut only and do not want to have your hair shampooed or blowdried, please arrive with clean, dry hair

UPON ARRIVAL

  • Wear a mask that secures behind your ears
  • Wash and/or sanitize your hands
  • Arrive at the time of your appointment (not before or after) to eliminate any waiting time and to maintain social distancing

CHECKING IN

  • No shaking hands or hugging
  • Temperature checks for all clients and team members
  • Complete a COVID-19 health screening questionnaire/waiver

DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Keep your mask on at all times
  • You must keep all personal items with you

CHECKING OUT

  • Gratuities will be accepted via Venmo, personal checks or pre-sealed cash envelopes
  • Additional $3 PPE fee to each ticket 
  • Germless retailing — we will give you clean, untouched product
  • No shaking hands or hugging
